This New BAYC Member Aped In And Bought Two Gold Fur Apes. Read Why He Thinks They're Undervalue
On Saturday a Opensea user Zymerce.eth joined the Bored Ape Yacht Club after purchasing a pair of gold fur bored apes.
“Personally I just felt like the golden apes are extremely undervalued relative to floor apes, Zymerce told the Bored Ape Gazette. “And you can’t beat the network effect of BAYC.”
The gold fur apes that Zymerce purchased were Bored Ape #5383 and Bored Ape #1837. In total, Zymerce spent 195 Eth or $487,5000 USD for the pair of apes.
On Sunday, Zymerce took to Twitter to further explain the reason he believes that gold fur apes are undervalued. Especially when they’re compared to CryptoPunks.
“If a whale comes in and scoops these 2 golden apes, we'll have a $900,000 gold floor,” he tweeted. “Currently, golden apes are only a 23x premium relative to floor apes. Compare this to Crypto Punks. Zombies are a 36x premium relative to floor punks. And I'm not even counting Aliens/apes.”
Zymerce does not seem to below alone in his analysis of the market. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, an unknown crypto whale moved 2,000 Eth from Coinbase to Metamask on Saturday and purchased a gold fur ape.
