Yuga Labs is making waves in the gaming world after the company hired a former Google and Polygon Gaming Lead to be its new Head of Gaming Business Development.
Things were anything but boring around the swamp yesterday after George Yousling took to Twitter and announced that he was recently hired as Yuga Labs’ new Head of Gaming Business Development.
“Excited to share that I’ve joined the insanely talented team @yugalabs to lead Games BD,” Yousling tweeted from his Coolhaircut Twitter account, “We have massive ambitions for gaming (Otherside, Dookey Dash Unclogged, Legends of the Mara, etc) and we’re just getting started If you’re building world-class player experiences, passionate about digital ownership, and excited about interoperability — I’d love to connect and explore opportunities!”
Before joining the Yuga Labs team, Yousling worked at Google as a Strategic Partner Business Development Manager for 16 months, followed by a four-year stint at Google Play where he was a Business Development Manager overseeing a portfolio of AAA games such as Minecraft, Roblox, and Riot. After his time at Google, Yousling worked at Polygon Labs for nearly two years, according to his LinkedIn.
Yousling has also been a member of the Bored Ape Yacht Club since January 12, 2024 and has Mutant Ape #22306 as his profile photo!
