Yuga Labs Announced That LOTM Is Going Mobile Later This Year! Here's What You Need To Know:
Voyagers are going to need more spaceship parts and Kodas to captain them after Yuga Labs announced that its Legends of The Mara game is going mobile later this year!
On Tuesday, Yuga Labs’ gaming account shared a three-part thread announcing that a mobile Legends of The Mara game is currently in development with Faraway gaming studio.
“Explore. Craft. Conquer. Rise. Kodas make the best Captains,” Yuga Labs tweeted this afternoon. “Coming 2H 2024 Developing in partnership with @farawaygg WIP: Not final art, text, ui, etc.”
In the post, Voyagers got a glance at what the game may look like as Voyagers build, shop, complete quests, and explore the world of Otherside.
“Glad to finally be showing some more of what we have been cooking,” Yuga Labs’ Chief Gaming Officer, Spencer Tucker tweeted.
A mobile LOTM is the second mobile game that Yuga Labs revealed that they are building in collaboration with Faraway this month.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs announced that it was launching Dookey Dash Unclogged in quarter 1 of 2024 and that everyone in the world will be invited to ape in.
LOTM and Dookey Dash Unclogged are not the only two mobile games that Yuga Labs is going to launch this year, according to Tucker.
Following today’s gaming announcement the Bored Ape Gazette reached out to Tucker and confirmed that neither Dookey Dash nor mobile LOTM are the ‘mobile first cross platform game’ that Garga teased at ApeFest 2023!
“Nope :-) that one is still not yet announced,” he told the paper.
At this time we do not know much about this unannounced third game, but we do know that Yuga Labs has been working on it for a while and that Apes, Mutants Dogs, and HV-MTLs will get to play!
“I know we just wrapped up forge, and we’ve had something under our belts for a while here," Garga said. "So, we have a partnership on a mobile first cross platform game coming in 2024 that’s been in development for over two years. I think it’s pretty sick and I think we are going to have a lot of fun all together. And don’t worry, it's skill based and there’s no voting. And obviously Apes Doggos, HVs, and mutants are coming along for the ride. We’re stoked for that.”
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow Yuga Labs’ mobile LOTM game along with all its other upcoming games. Stay tuned for updates!
