Yuga Labs' CGO Reiterated That The HV-MTL Forge Is A Social Game
As the Bored Ape Yacht Club members and HV-MTL holders get ready to Forge, Yuga Labs’ Chief Gaming Officer reiterated that it’s a social game!
The HV-MTL Forge is set to begin next week, and everyone is chomping at the bit for more information about the game. While the community waits for Yuga Labs’ next announcement, the company’s Chief Gaming Officer, Spencer Tucker, took to Twitter today and discussed the Forge’s feel and said its not like Dungeons& Dragons.
“Considering streaming forge? Stream cool creations and highlights/ trends/ trolls/ discoveries/ tips, Forge just hits different, it’s social it’s not DD, but it’s def a vibe,” Tucker tweeted. “And when the Rift Opens…”
Tucker’s tweet about the HV-MTL Forge being a social game lines up well with the teaser trailer that Yuga Labs released earlier this week.
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the BAYC's Forge trailer showcased players building their HV homes, visiting other players' places, and voting on various aesthetics as they strive to climb up the HV-MTL leaderboard!"
Along with Tucker’s tweet about the Forge being a social game, he also said that a lot of thought went into the Forge's voting mechanics.
“More info to come, but rest easy, there was a lot of thought that went into the vote mechanics, “Tucker tweeted when asked if influencers would have a heavy advantage in the HV-MTL Forge.
The BAYC and Yuga Labs are expected to release more information about the HV-MTL Forge before the game's launch on June 29th.
"Stoked to crack open Forge next week," BAYC Co-Founder Garga tweeted earlier this week. "Bunch more content coming between now and then to prep you for the experience, but like Dookey Dash, it will just make sense once you’ve played for a bit."
The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow the Forge and will keep you posted on all things HV-MTL. Stay tuned for updates!
