Yuga Labs Upped The HV-MTL Rift Boss Prizes By 150,000 $Ape With First Place Receiving 63,950 Coins
You asked, Yuga listened.
HV-MTL Holders and their Mechs are entering the Rift to hunt for Bosses with a renewed sense of purpose after Yuga Labs upped the lackluster Ape rewards by 150,000 coins, raising the top prize from 3,950 $Ape to 63,950 $Ape!
After the sixth and final season of the HV-MTL Forge began on Thursday, Yuga Labs launched its new Gaming social media account and upped the Rift Boss $Ape rewards.
“BAYC paid us some $APE to leave them alone and start a new account,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its YugaLAbsGaming account. “ So we've added 150K $APE rewards across the Top 10 finishers of the Rift Boss Leaderboard. Forge on. (Welcome to Yuga Labs Gaming)”
These increased $Ape rewards came after many community members such as DFarmer voiced their disappoint in the reward structure yesterday.
Following today’s update, DFarmer took to Twitter and praised Yuga Labs for listening to the community and righting this wrong.
“Having a pulse on the community, clear communication and the ability to course correct on the fly is a big part of what made Yuga great, he tweeted. “And it’s the same thing that will make it great again. Thanks for hearing us out @yugalabs and welcome to the swamp @yugalabsgaming.”
In order to get a piece of these rewards and possibly win the 63,950 $Ape grand prize, HV-MTL Holders and their Mechs will need to enter the rift, find a Boss, and defeat the beast in battle.
The more Bosses that HV-MTL Holders and their Mechs defeat, the more Shards they earn, and the higher they will place on the seasonal Shard leaderboard. This will determine how much $Ape they win.
“Rewards for Forge revolve around Evo 2 and upgrading your HV for future activations,” Yuga Labs wrote in its gaming guide. “The story of your HV will continue to move beyond Forge as we embark on future adventures. For those who are at the top of the Shards Leaderboard at the end of season 6, ApeCoin rewards as part of the icing on the cake.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Season Six of the HV-MTL Forge is set to end next month on November 2nd. After the Forge closes, HV-MTL Holders' Mechs will evolve to their Evo2 forms and the community will embark on a new journey towards Evo3.
“After forge we’ll evolve to evo2 then next mini game will either go to evo3 or combine with bakc to get to “????????,” Yuga Labs’ Community Manager Mr. Eth. Said on Discord on Wednesday.
