A Battle Between Magic And Might Is Happening In The M2 Powered Metaverse And BAYC Members Can Play At Their Primates!

This Halloween, a mystical battle of Might and Magic is brewing in the metaverse, and everyone’s invited to ape in—cast spells, wield swords, and, for Bored Ape Yacht Club members, even enter this eerily enchanted world as their apes!

Spooky season kicked off early this week in ImprobableIo’s interoperable MSquared metaverse, inviting everyone from across Web3 to join the fight as a warrior or wizard pumpkin, or as their Bored Ape, Forgotten Runes, or Grillz character at Mt. Umbra in the Edison metaverse!

Like ImprobableIo’s baseball events over the summer and Yuga Labs’ Otherside experiences, this Halloween event runs on M Squared tech, meaning it’s fully interoperable. This means that in the future, players will be able to take their achievements and items from one MSquared world to another, bringing a new level of connectivity to the metaverse.

“It’s essentially like an ecosystem that lets everybody profit,” Narula said of M2 during a metaverse meetup event on June 2023. “So, you can make a world like Sandbox and Decentraland, you can connect one in, you can create MML objects, and you can have them move from world to world. You can create and use experiences that have thousands of people in them at the same time. And none of these are going to be decisions that are only made my Improbable. So M2 stands apart from us and is kind of like an underlying telecoms network for the metaverse. And there will be economic incentives that will incentivize all of the large metaverses we are working with to create more interoperability.”
