Spooky season is in full swing around the swamp as a longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member with a penchant for undead primates picks up a Mega Koda!
On Wednesday, BAYC member Dr. MarkMass purchased Koda #9909 from notable NFT broker NikkiV for 18.81 ETH, or roughly $50,400 USD.
Koda #9909 is a 14 trait Mega Koda with a Grooze core, Goo Goo head, All Seeing Ooze eyes, and a Smoozitar weapon. Based on these traits, Koda #9909 is the 35th rarest mystical character in the metaverse, according to OpenSea data.
Following Dr. MarkMass’ purchase, the Gazette reached out to him via X, but he did not immediately respond.
While we do not know what inspired him to make the purchase tonight, we do know that he’s bullish on all things Yuga Labs.
In total, he holds three Zombie Bored Apes, three Mutants, 49 Otherdeeds, four of which are Chaos environments, and six Kodas, two of which are Megas! Take a look at some of his holdings below:
