It’s a “Monty Monday” on ApeChain as Made By Apes lifestyle and jewelry brand Bandor drops its first NFT collection and invites everyone to pick up a primate!
From animated lore to exclusive jewelry drops, a new monkey named Monty is causing quite a commotion around the swamp and beyond this evening after BAYC members Ape Cross and Bandor invited everyone to check out their new NFT project that pays homage to the popular Yuga Labs character Jimmy the Monkey and ties into everything they’ve been building.
“Who is Monty? He’s the wildcard in the Bandorverse: a rogue artisan, an on-chain legend, and your digital mirror into a world where fine jewelry meets animated lore,” Bandor wrote. “The Monty Collection is your first step inside. A Web3- native character turned icon, Monty bridges the real and the virtual- the degens and the collectors- the chaos of the NFT world and the order of epic craft.”
While we do not know everything that Ape Cross and Bandor have planned for Monty, we do know that they will be dropping a “Bandor Trailer” and a “Jewelry Collection Pre-Order” this December, according to the project’s roadmap.
"Bandor is an Ape Ultra Luxury Jewelry Collectibles brand Powered by a superhero animated series featuring Bandor, the super ape and master jeweller, who crafts masterpieces in his workshop and protects the city of Lumiere (Futuristic Paris) against evil," Bandor told the Gazette. "All jewelry pieces have traces of web3 culture.. they will all be featured in the animated series."
As Monty’s mint continues, longtime BAYC members are taking notice and can’t wait to see what’s next for this new collection.
