ANTE UP AND APE IN: The First Ever BAYC Poker Tournament Will Take Place During ApeFest, According to Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner

Primates will need to know when to hold ’em and when to fold ’em in time for ApeFest 2025, after Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner announced that the first ever Bored Ape Yacht Club poker tournament is going down in Sin City with a World Series of Poker style champion bracelet fit for the swamp up for grabs!

After the BAYC took over the timeline with ApeFest 2025 alpha on Thursday afternoon, Gordon Goner had Apes feeling flushed when he revealed that a first of its kind BAYC Poker Tournament is in the works.

“There’s going to be a bored ape poker tournament at Ape Fest Vegas btw,” he tweeted. “Not sure about details or entry price yet, etc. Have asked team to work on a sick winner’s bracelet. Very stoked about all this. Would love to see it happen yearly, depending on how it goes.”
