Ape Express Founder Koko’s New Delegation Aped Into The DAO Yesterday And It's Already a Top Voting Bloc!

Some of the ApeCoin DAO’s biggest degenerates and best builders launched their own ApeCoin DAO delegation yesterday, and it's already one of the largest voting blocs around the swamp!

On Wednesday, Bored Ape Yacht Club member and Ape Express founder Koko tuned into the first episode of the Governance Working Group’s 'Delegate This' Twitter Space, which inspired him to start his own delegation called 'Crypto Is Fun.' The focus of this delegation will be to onboard new people to $Ape!

“Our goal is to combine the power of my entire crew to make impactful moves within the DAO,” Koko told the Gazette. “The Crypto is Fun squad believes that, with our platform and reach, we can onboard many new people into ApeCoin and ApeChain, making it a perfect fit for us to form a delegation.”

This message quickly resonated with $Apes, and in less than 24 hours, Koko’s Crypto Is Fun delegation has already become the eighth-largest voting group in the DAO, with 1.4 million $Ape worth of voting power—which he says is just the beginning.

“I think we have more votes coming in from some of the guys ive been talking to,” Koko said on the Gazette's weekly Twitter Space this afternoon. “I want us to be for the community. This wont be us on a power trip, it will be more like will this help the greater ApeCoin ApeChain ecosystem and is this going to help the price of $Ape.”

Going forward, Koko said that the door to the Crypto Is Fun delegation is always open to every builder and that he expects future AIP authors to be available via Spaces and other channels to earn his group’s votes.

“You can count on us to be responsive and approachable when AIP authors seek our votes,” he said. “We’re inviting others to join us and will be incentivizing members of our delegation with added perks. Our focus will be on AIPs that benefit BAYC, ApeChain, and ApeCoin. We’re excited to shake things up!”
