APE ON IN, THE WATER'S GREAT: ApeChain Goes Live On Nifty Island With Quests And UGC Contests Coming Soon!

The ApeChain ecosystem is having some fun in the Nifty Island sun after $Ape went live in the metaverse yesterday, with a dozen collections already checking out the metaverse and more activations and quests scheduled to begin next week!

 

On Thursday, the ApeChain team joined the Nifty Island squad on Spaces to talk about the metaverse and why $Ape NFT holders should come and check out the island.

 

During the hour-long chat, Nifty Island Co-Founder Charl3s shared that he and his team had been getting tons of requests to bring ApeChain into the metaverse for months, and they knew they had to let $Ape in!

“We were getting tons of request for ApeChain," he said. “So we got cooking and made it happen. It came down to how many requests we got, how manny NFT communities there are there, and I’ve also known Rida for a long time. So yeah, it all came together!”

 

Since Nifty Island announced that it was now live on $Ape yesterday, over a dozen communities have already aped in and Charl3s believes even more will join as the Nifty and ApeChain teams begin rolling out quests and activations.

“We got Geez On Ape, NEKITOs, Fusion Gaming, Degens, SkeleFrenz, DoJo Kids, Typical Tigers, Smiths, Gobs On Ape, Mintotaurs, and tons more there is a big long list of communities that have come in,” he said. “ You’re going to see these communities doing lots of quests starting next week… You can earn ApeChain NFTs just by playing Nifty. We are also going to be doing a pretty big UGC contest with Rida and his team. So next week expect the UGC contest, Quests, and I think you’ll likely see a good deal more between us and ApeChain. But this is just a start!”

 

As Nifty Island and ApeChain prepare to do even more together in this on chain paradise, everyone in the $Ape ecosystem is invited to check out Fusion Gaming’s ApeChain quest, happening now through Sunday at 5 P.M. EST!
