AQUA AFFINITY?: Past Discord Post Reveals That Yuga Labs Co- Founder Gordon Goner's "Fav"Background Color Is Aquamarine

Years-old Aquamarine Discord posts are coming back to haunt Yuga Labs Co-Founder Gordon Goner as the community prepares for battle this weekend.

On Thursday, Yuga Labs Co-Founder and notable orange backgrounder Gordon Goner announced that he will be fighting for Orange against the Aquamarines in Meetropolis this weekend during Yuga Labs’ first-ever Project Dragon event.

 

“Saturday. high noon. the only good aquamarine is a dead aquamarine,” he tweeted along with an orange emoji.

 

 

Following Goner’s anti-Aquamarine tweet, BAYC member Lil Pudgy DapperDabber7 shared a shocking screenshot from the club’s early days that revealed Goner’s favorite background color is Aquamarine.

 

“unfortunately for you, i have receipts,” DapperDabber7 tweeted along with a damning screenshot. “aqua on top.”

 

 

In DapperDabber7’s post, we can clearly see Goner replying that Aquamarine is ‘my fav too’ in response to a pro-Aquamarine message from longtime BAYC member RVM on April 30, 2021.

Following DapperDabber7’s post, Goner quickly replied by calling the Lil Pudgy a lil liar.

 

After Goner’s past pro-Aquamarine post made waves around the swamp, Aquamarine Ape Phin Erin took to the timeline and invited Goner to join his favorite background color’s team this weekend.

“Never forgot Gordon wished he was an aquamarine,” aquamarine BAYC member Phin Erin wrote in light of the screenshot.. “His words he speaks now, comes from a place of jealousy All love Gordo. Whenever you want to change, Aquamarine will welcome you with open arms.”
