BACK IN SWAMP STYLE: BAYC Member Allo Reopens Bored Closet As A Physical Apparel Brand!

Bored Closet is reopening its doors but with a new physical look!

On Thursday, longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member and ApeChain builder Allo announced that his defunct project, Bored Closet, will be returning later this month.

 

“The comeback nobody thought would happen,” Allo tweeted from his Bored Closet account. “Bored Closet is back, now an shop with limited drops and customizable apparel. Stay tuned and keep your notifications on for our first drop.”

 

 

 

“Bored Closet is changing from digital to the physical world, with apparel that can be customized with your own PFP,” Allo exclusively told the Gazette. “This is our first limited time drop, where you able to get the hoodie and a digital collectible that has the full artwork on it. Every art piece is made in collaboration with @tjthecreator_”

 

As the Gazette previously reported, Allo closed Bored Closet in December after no longer being able to afford to keep the project running.

 

With the shift from digital to physical merchandise, Allo is optimistic that this new iteration of Bored Closet will become a swamp staple.

“I believe  it goes in perfectly together with what bored closet tried to do in the digital world,” he said. “Unfortunately that wasn’t that sustainable that’s why we wanna give it a try again but this time with a more web2 style approach.”
