Bored Ape Yacht Club Member BonnieLass Won A CryptoPunk In Deepak Thapliyal's Giveaway!

Bored Ape Yacht Club member BonnieLass.Eth is now a CryptoPunk after winning Deepak Thapliyal’s giveaway on Friday.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the Chain CEO and NFT enthusiast gave away a CryptoPunk to commemorate Tiffany& Co.’s successful project launch.

In just two days, Thapliyal’s giveaway tweet received 10,000 likes and had 9,800 retweets.

“The premise of the giveaway was to give back to the community,” Thapliyal told the Bored Ape Gazette. “I am blessed and fortunate to be in a position to able to give back, and not only in monetary ways, but in a fun way with things I love, like NFTs.”

While many people entered the contest, BAYC member BonnieLass.Eth was the big winner!

“I’m so shocked to have won, it’s an unreal feeling,” BonnieLass told the Bored Ape Gazette. “So so grateful to Deepak for running such an amazing giveaway! I’ve been into NFTs for just over a year, have admired Punks from a distance and now so excited to join the family!”

The CryptoPunk that BonnieLass.Eth won was CryptoPunk #6412. CryptoPunk #6412 is a three-trait Dark-Male type CrpytoPunk with classic shades, a forward cap, and an earring. Based on these traits, CryptoPunk #6412 is the 7615th most rare punk, according to Rarity tools.

After winning CryptoPunk #6412, BonnieLass changed her profile photo to the CryptoPunk (with a new pink background) and told the Bored Ape Gazette that she plans to hold the rare NFT.

“Plan to hold it, I’ve jumped into the Discord and everyone has been so welcoming," she said. “Love the history behind them and how they’ve inspired so many other collections. I’m excited to see what Yuga Labs does with them in the future, so lucky to now be along for the ride!”
