BORED GAMES: The Otherside's First Squid Games Are Tonight At 11 P.M. EST And You're Invited To Ape In!

Let’s skip the game of Ddakji and ape right into the Otherside Squid Games!

Red Light, Green Light! Things will be anything but boring in Yuga Labs’ always on metaverse tonight at 11 P.M. EST, as BAYC members GSpot, MoreThanHype, and Honey B don metaphorical Masked Guard gear and call Apes by number, not name, to participate in the first ever Otherside Squid Games, with ApeChain NFTs and memecoins up for grabs for those who survive!

 

 

The idea for an Otherside version of Squid Games came about after the trio hosted races in the metaverse yesterday and saw tons of primates posting photos of themselves hiding around the map, challenging their frens to find them!

“We had so many people competing and everyone having fun, so we figured why not expand on that idea,” Honey B told the Gazette. “Squid Games came to mind, maybe because I just finished the series & also I went to the Squid Game experience in NYC last month.”

The event will begin at the BAYC Clubhouse and consist of three games: Red Light, Green Light, Simon Says, and Hide and Seek, with each round helping determine who’s truly an ape above the rest!

 

“We're doing this to have more fun experiences in the world of building experiences,” Honey B said. “To get more people coming back to Otherside and being creative themselves and really to build up the community and culture of ApeChain. Fuck around and have fun. I'm excited to have so many of the communities of ApeChain coming in and giving us even more prizes to add into the prize pool.”

 

Tonight’s Squid Games includes prizes from GeezOnApe, ApeChainHoes ,dongsockswtf, BushBabyClub, Sloooths, BoredOnChain, MarsCatsVoyage, and balloonsonape.

 

To enter tonight’s Squid Games, simply ape into Otherside here ,Meet in front of the Clubhouse, and join GSpot or Hype’s Bubble Space at 11 P.M. EST.

 

Looking ahead, Honey B told the Gazette that he wants to host more events like this in Otherside soon and hopes this type of community led experience inspires others to build and host events of their own.

 

“I hope this inspires more people to keep coming up with games & experiences for us all to play (I already have more ideas haha) and I'm just grateful for the support & interest from everyone and amazing people like @Timmygspt and @morethenhypewho have helped organize and contribute to the creativity and shenanigans of it all,” he said. “I don't think we've slept just exploring every inch of the map and coming up with games to play haha.”
