BORED WITH BEEPLE: BAYC Announces ApeFest 2026 At Beeple's Studio In Charleston South Carolina On October 17!

From clues to confirmation!

Things were anything but boring on Thursday after the Bored Ape Yacht Club officially announced that ApeFest 2026 will take place on October 17 at Beeple's Studio in Charleston, South Carolina.

Today's announcement comes after weeks of clues and plenty of speculation around the swamp about the whereabouts of ApeFest 2026, but in the end, everything ultimately pointed to the Palmetto State.

Beeple's Studio is a 50,000-square-foot venue featuring a 13,000 square foot immersive digital art gallery and a 13,000 square foot experiential event space. The studio is located at 2325 Charleston Regional Parkway, Charleston, SC 29492.

Beeple officially opened the venue in March 2023 to celebrate the second anniversary of his historic "Everydays: The First 5000 Days" auction at Christie's, which sold for $69 million USD.

 

In the years since, Beeple's Studio has become something of a home base for the NFT community, hosting meetups, exhibitions, and other events.

“Since we launched the studio… I very much wanted it to be a place where we could try out a lot of different types of events,” Beeple tweeted in 2024. “Bringing together a wide variety of communities around digital art.”

 

It only makes sense that ApeFest would make its way to this Web3 native venue, and many longtime BAYC members believe it's the perfect place to bring the club together.

“Loved my first visit to Beeple Studio in Charleston,” BAYC member and Rillaz Co-Founder Web3Gatsby said. “Everyone naturally ended up in the same bars, restaurants and hotels. Smaller, calmer, easier to actually come together and go bananas”
