Do you want to your ape to be made into an action figure? If you answered yes, then you might want apply for the latest licensing opportunity from Bored Jobs.
Mousebelt, the crypto incubator company behind BoredJobs, is working with PureArts, a well-known collector figurine maker, to create a line of Bored Ape action figures.
“Blue chip NFTs such as the Bored Ape Yacht Club have created passionate communities of collectors interested in characters from collections, they are a member of across various product categories,” Mousebelt wrote in a press release on July 27th. “PureArts intends to release a collection of affordable and high-quality Bored Ape Yacht Club collectible figures. Rather than buying their own Bored Ape NFTs, the manufacturer is taking a community-first approach by offering licensing deals directly to owners in the community.”
In order to apply, all apes have to do is add a picture of their primates as a comment on BoredJobs’ announcement tweet below:
BoredJobs will then send interested apes follow up questions about their primate. Apes will have until August 10th to comment and submit their answers, according to the job listing.
After the initial application process, apes will then compete in a bracket style competition to determine which apes will be made into action figures! In the end two Apes will win and they will receive an undisclosed percentage of the sales, according to BoredJobs.
PureArts plans to create two different figurines for its first BAYC collection, a 9” and a 12” toy, according to the job posting.
