BOT'S BEST FRIEND: HV-MTL Owners Will Soon Face A Heavy Decision, Upgrade Their Bots Or Burn Them For A New “HV-MTL Pet.”

Forget bark, bark, HV-MTL robots’ best friends go beep boop!

The HV-MTL collection’s reboot continued Friday after Co-Owner and entrepreneur Adam Weitsman revealed that he and his co-owner, Gabe, are working on “HV-MTL Pets,” a new collection designed to reduce supply, energize old and new HV holders, and give scrap value to long forgotten bots!

 

“Pets were created to bring real utility to HV-MTLs with 0 PowerScore or with minimal participation in The Forge,” Weitsman wrote. “We know that many felt they were left behind in the process, which is why Pets arrive as a new opportunity to integrate and grow within the HV-MTL ecosystem.”

 

With the arrival of Pets, HV holders will soon face a choice, upgrade their bots to Evo2 or exchange them for a Pet.

“So basically this will be the process: once the Amp Claim site goes live, you’ll connect your wallet, select your HV-MTL and detach the amps,” Gabe wrote in the HV-MTL Discord following Weitsman’s announcement on X. “After this step two new collections will be created: one for Evo1s without amps and another collection (only amps). Holders will be given enough time to trade and gather the best amps for their Evo2. I’m planning to launch the Evo2 evolution and the HV-MTL burn at the same time so choose wisely decide whether you’ll burn your HV-MTLs for Pets or evolve them into Evo2.”

 

 

With this new collection, Weitsman and Gabe hope to reenergize longtime HV-MTL holders and ensure both old and new participants feel they have a place in the ecosystem moving forward.

“With this new collection we aim to: •Include more members of the community,” Weitsman wrote. “•Give new life and purpose to HV-MTLs with little or no past activity. •Strengthen the sense of belonging by introducing Voltus as the official mascot, supported by multiple unique Pets that reflect the diversity of our community. •The Evo2/Pets collections will be the only ones to receive benefits in upcoming activations or partnerships.”

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Weitsman and Gabe purchased the HV-MTL collection from Faraway Gaming Studios in September with the promise of top tier devs, great art, and HV-MTLs’ inclusion on Otherside.
