A darkness is about to descend on Robinhood Chain. But it isn’t some vamped derivative or ghost of rug pulls past. It’s an all new onchain survival trading game created by Meebits and Clutch Markets that will pit four factions against each other, and everyone’s invited to play... if they dare!

On Monday beginning at 1 P.M. ET, NightShades will officially launch with free NFT claims for StonkBrokers, Meebits, and Bored Apes, alongside four fair launch faction token drops via Clutch Markets’ coin launchpad, StonkLauncher!

 

The name of the game is simple: buy into one of four factions, Ghosts, Zombies, Watchers, or Knights, and wait for something called the “Darkness” to come. When it does, liquidity will be sucked out of one or more faction tokens and shifted into the survivors, leading to bloody red candles for some and ghoulish green charts for others, all determined by Chainlink’s random number tech!

 

And that’s just the beginning!

After the Darkness strikes, the countdown to the next attack begins, giving players time to reposition themselves and potentially buy into decimated faction tokens ahead of the next round.

“The Night does not keep score,” Sergito said in the game’s NightPaper. “A struck faction stands in the next draw like everyone else — it can fall twice in a row, or survive and take the other side, receiving capital from that event while its token trades at a reduced price.”

 

Clutch Markets Founder 0xSimpleFarmer has said this randomness factor makes NightShades very different from traditional memecoin trading, giving everyone who participates a shot at catching a major move.

“We often trade on tokens that are manipulated that you don’t really have a good chance to win, but with these four tokens you’ll always have a 25% chance of a big green candle,” 0xSimpleFarmer said. “I think that the moments of the night will be great for marketing the event and I think it’s a new way of trading tokens which I think is exceptional.”
