CONTAGION CONTINUES: Other Games Is Hosting Another Otherside Outbreak Event Tomorrow And Everyone’s Invited To Compete For Prizes And XP!

Cough! Cough! From something is brewing to something sick, the fun will be infectious around the swamp tomorrow afternoon as Other Games hosts a huge Otherside Outbreak event with prizes and newly mentioned XP points up for grabs!
After a record breaking number of gamers aped into last weekend’s Other Games, Yuga Labs and the team are running it back with another event atop the experience’s big map, where up to 100 people can ape in and catch the gaming bug!
“Weekend directive: escalate the outbreak,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its Otherside account. “The large map reopens for another special edition of @Othergamesxyz this Saturday @ 3PM EST. Don’t miss your chance to cruise the large map, win prizes, and collect XP.”
Otherside Outbreak’s gameplay is as simple as it is fun. During this weekend’s event, participants will run around the map collecting coins while avoiding infected players and trying to survive as long as they can!
Tonight, we don’t know how much $Ape worth of prizes will be up for grabs tomorrow or exactly how this newly mentioned XP works. But back in May, Yuga Labs CEO Garga confirmed that Otherside would feature an XP system, making tomorrow’s XP almost certainly part of that program.
“Yeah,” he said at the time. “I think rewards need to be a big part of any crypto game. the summer release is more like an alpha, so there wouldn't be any immediate hard currency, but there is an XP system for people to start progression that can get factored in later.”
