Pax and Polly took over LINE FRIENDS Square in South Korea today as their collab with some of Asia’s favorite characters officially dropped!

On Thursday, Pudgy Penguins waddled into retail in the Land of the Morning Calm as its highly anticipated LINE FRIENDS collaboration went live across Asia, bringing Pax, Polly, and the huddle East!

“The Pudgy Penguins x @_LINEFRIENDS limited-edition collection is now live. Featuring plushies, blind boxes, collectibles and more, you can get the collection at all Line Friends stores in Asia or online."

 

Upon walking into LINE FRIENDS’ flagship store this morning, shoppers were greeted by a Pax and Polly display packed with pens, plushies, blind boxes, and more!

“This is cultural adoption @pudgypenguins,” longtime huddler Aaron Teng tweeted.

 

As the Gazette previously reported, LINE FRIENDS isn’t just any brand in Asia. After launching as a collection of stickers on the popular LINE Messenger app in 2011, its instantly recognizable characters grew far beyond the screen, expanding across the region and collaborating with major names like BTS, Starbucks, Nike, and more over the years.
