A new Otherside Outbreak map opened in the metaverse this afternoon, inviting anyone in Web3 and beyond to ape into this viral experience and catch the gaming bug!

On Tuesday, Otherside Outbreak launched a new 30-player Medium Map, and community members are queuing up right now to play, and so can you!
“The contagion mutates. The Lobby expands,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its Otherside account. “Medium map unlocked. Enter if you dare.”
Like the smaller map players have been testing over the past week and the larger one that debuted over the weekend during OtherGames, the gameplay is a classic zombie infection style mode where one player starts with the plague and tries to spread it while everyone else scrambles to survive!
The new Medium Map keeps the same aesthetic as the other two, with underground nooks to hide in and floating blocks to hop across, striking a balance between the Otherside’s two competing energies, Soma and chaos.
“New map is the perfect balance of players to map size,” Koda Clutch Rob tweeted. “Having a blast, Come join the fun!”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Otherside Outbreak is the metaverse’s second-ever Otherside Development Kit (ODK) experience, meaning it was built with the same tools that every Otherdeed holder will eventually have access to.
Tonight, anyone in Web3 and beyond is invited to jump into Otherside Outbreak and explore both the small and medium maps here: https://launch.otherside.xyz
