EGG-SPLORE THE CATACOMBS: BAYC Member Moonlyght’s OtherPets Journeys Season 2 Begins On ApeChain September 25 With 15,000+ $Ape Up For Grabs!

A new adventure inspired by Yuga Labs’ past is about to begin on ApeChain, and it sounds egg-cellent.

Over the weekend, Bored Ape Yacht Club member and OtherEggs founder Moonlyght announced that Season 2 of OtherPets Journeys, dubbed The Frosted Catacombs, will launch on ApeChain on September 25 with more than 15,000 $Ape in prizes up for grabs!

 

 

“I’m very excited to continue the story,” Moonlyght told the Gazette. “OtherPets Journeys was born mostly as an experience for all those who lamented the loss of the Legends of the Mara game from 2023. We basically rebuilt a similar experience while adding a few different game loops of our own.”

 

As the Gazette previously reported, Season 1 of the idle role playing game, OtherPets Journeys: The Wailing Labyrinth, took place over the summer and distributed more than 100,000 $Ape to players when all was said and done.

 

 

With the new season, everyone is starting fresh, and anyone holding an OtherPet, OtherEgg, or Koda can participate.

Best of all, players won’t need to spend all day grinding in the Catacombs. According to Moonlyght, OtherPets Journeys takes only around two minutes a day to set up and play, making it easy for just about anyone to ape in even if they’re new!

 

“This second season is all thanks to the support and participation of everyone from the first Chapter. It feels great to be able to keep working on it, because without the community's support, none of this would be possible.”
