Attention HV-MTL Holders! It’s time to wipe the rust off your HVs, clean up those last oil shit stains in the garage, and peel out of the Void because Faraway Gaming Studios is getting ready to launch a new HV-MTL game—and they want you to be an Alpha tester today!
The gears are spinning in the expanded Yugaverse after Faraway Gaming Studios’ Chief Product Officer, Spencer Tucker, tweeted that the company is working on a new HV-MTL-themed mobile game and that community members who have an iPhone are invited to ape in as Alpha testers.
“Gonna be Alpha testing a new game featuring HVs, no it’s not shatterline,” he tweeted last night. “You MUST have IOS to get into the beta, if you fit the requirements, Dm me on discord, looking to fill roughly 30-50 spots.”
Following his post, Tucker told the Gazette that the game is a ‘Trading Card Game Lane Battler’ with player vs. player and player vs. environment mechanics, and that Faraway Gaming Studios plans to add a bunch of Web3 elements, including utility for HV-MTLs, before it launches later this year.
“Should be one of the best and most polished games in Web3, has a lot of depth,” Tucker said.” J3FF will be playable in game as well.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Yuga Labs sold the HV-MTL IP and its Legends of the Mara IP to Faraway Gaming Studios on April 17th, 2024.
Since then, Faraway has announced several games and projects they are working on for HV-MTLs and Mara, including more seasons of LOTM, Shatterline, this new game, and more.
