FLIPPERS AND THRILLS: Pudgy Penguins Is Looking For Four Fat Flightless Birds To Star In Its Next Plushie Push!

Pudgy Penguins everywhere, get ready for your close ups and waddle over to OverPass IP, because a brand new licensing opportunity just opened and it sounds like quite the thrill!

 

 

The new licensing opportunity, dubbed "Good Stuff Toys Wave 3," is looking for four Pudgy Penguins to be transformed into plushie toys that will be featured at theme parks around the world as part of the brand's mission to put penguins everywhere.

“Following the success of the initial Pudgy Penguins plushies in amusement parks worldwide, Pudgy Penguins is excited to continue expanding the program with the introduction of Wave 3,” the brand wrote. “Building on the momentum and positive fan response from previous releases, this next wave will feature an all-new assortment of unique Pudgy Penguins character designs, further growing the collectible lineup for fans and guests alike.”

 

As the Gazette previously reported, plushies and Pudgies have gone together like snow and winter for years, appearing in retail giants like Walmart and crane games in Urban Air Adventure trampoline parks across the United States.

At the time of this article's publication, 200 Pudgy Penguins had already applied for the opportunity, and many more are expected to put their flippers in the ring between now and Monday's deadline.

Selected holders will receive $1,000 USD in exchange for licensing their Penguin's intellectual property from the time of selection through October 31st, 2027.
