On Wednesday, Moonbirds announced that it is teaming up with Clutch Markets to host a private “Birbs and Brokers” event at TOKEN2049 in Singapore, featuring talks from the projects’ two CEOs, Spencer and 0xSimpleFarmer, with holders from both communities invited to attend.
“On October 7, we’re bringing the two communities together at a private pop-up in the heart of Singapore —an informal afternoon meet to exchange ideas and hear directly from the people building what comes next,” the pair wrote on their Luma page.
Tonight, we still do not know exactly what will be discussed during the event, but we do know that 0xSimpleFarmer has previously teased that he was working with Moonbirds on a Special Project that would be his response to all the StonkBroker derivatives that have been ruffling feathers on Robinhood Chain.
“I am keenly aware, and at one point I was like, is this annoying? Is it flattering? I don’t know. It's proof that this is good technology. But I think we have to have some kind of response, and I think this is the perfect response.”
While we still do not know exactly what this squawk back will be, 0xSimpleFarmer’s comments on Coffee With Captain this morning suggest that attending the event may come with a mint tied to whatever the two projects are building, and that both StonkBroker and Moonbirds holders will benefit from whatever the flock they create.
