FOR SALE: HV-MTL Co-Owner Gabe8bit Is Taking Offers On His Half Of The Brand

HV-MTL co-owner Gabe8bit is officially looking to sell his half of the project, just one day after announcing that he would be stepping away.

On Sunday, Gabe8bit took to the timeline and revealed that he is accepting offers for his 50% stake in HV-MTL, inviting anyone interested to step in and make a bid.

 

“If anyone wants to take my 50% of HV-MTL I’m starting an open bidding option at $1 soon,” he tweeted.

 

 

Following the post, the Gazette reached out to Gabe for clarification on what exactly is for sale and if this is real.

“I will be selling half of my shares HV-MTL LLC,” he replied, adding that he is looking to shift his focus toward his family and personal projects.

Tonight, it remains unclear how much Gabe is hoping to receive for his stake. However, interest is already building. Notable NFT collector DFarmer has asked for more details, and Gabe told BAYC member 99th.eth that the highest offer he has received was $250,000 USD.

 

As the Gazette previously reported, it has been a busy weekend for HV-MTL after Gabe announced his departure from the project on Saturday.

 

“Hey Guys today is my last day in Hv-MTl thank you for everything,” he wrote on Discord.

 

 

Following the announcement, Adam Weitsman addressed the community, thanking Gabe for everything and revealing that he will be taking a more active role going forward.

“I have great plans for the collection and now will take an active role,” he wrote. “My focus right now is being an important part of Otherside. The project will be epic. Only wish Gabe the very best…. I’m taking the project on from here. I originally brought Gabe on and appreciate his efforts. I got this … Gabe’s a really great guy and he will do great things. I’m all about being positive. No negativity here. I had taken a back seat role before this. No longer. Time for me to get involved. Excited for the future.”
