From the course to your closet, GobsOnApe and notable golfing Gob NotGucci just dropped a new collection that’s perfect for the greens of Grimhold or the greens of Augusta!
“Gobs on Ape x @notXgucci present Fore the Gobs,” GobsOnApe tweeted. “ 7 golf themed pieces available now until April 12th. 4 staples that will stay for sale. All products available in US, other locations YMMV. We'll work on this.”
The Fore the Gobs collection includes pro shop staples like polos, hats, and T-shirts, along with golf gear like Gob branded balls, a towel, and socks, with prices ranging from $20 to $69.42 USD, for the culture!
As the Gazette previously reported, the idea of combining golf and Gobs was teed up nearly a year ago, just before the Masters, when NotGucci took over the timeline with his “Gobs Like Golf” edits, adding a pixelated version of the Masters’ iconic hat onto Gobs.
This year, NotGucci wanted to do something even bigger to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Masters, so he created merch and pitched the idea to Gobs founder James Hall.
“I designed a couple of merch ideas and talked to James about it. He was on board and we then started polishing products together to make the first Golf Edition,” he said “Collaborating with James has been such an honor, smooth process, he makes dev things happen so easy and quick with superb communication and support, which I deeply appreciate. Golf is life. Gobs are gobs.”
