Former NFL Star Malcolm Jenkins Changed His PFP To A Mutant Ape, But He's Been A Member For Months!
Former NFL Safety and two-time Super Bowl champion Malcolm Jenkins recently changed his profile photo to a Mutant Ape; but it appears that the former NFL star has quietly been a member of The Bored Ape Yacht Club for months.
On July 15th, BAYC member DeLaApe noticed that the former safety quietly changed his Twitter profile photo to Mutant Ape #1980.
“Yoooooooo when did @MalcolmJenkins join the @BoredApeYC this is awesome,” DeLaApe tweeted along with a screenshot of Jenkins’ profile. “@Eagles #eagles#bayc#mayc.”
Mutant Ape #1980 is an M1 seven-trait cream fur primate with a red BAYC hat, a work vest, and a phoneme mouth.
While it appears that Jenkins just changed his profile photo to Mutant Ape #1980, the former Eagle and Saints player purchased the insane mutant on December 26th, 2021, according to Opensea data.
While Mutant Ape #1980 appears to be Jenkins only Mutant Ape, the former safety has bought and sold a few MAYC apes in the past.
Jenkins played in the NFL 13 years and finished his career with 1044 tackles, 21 interceptions, 20 forced fumbles and two Super bowl championships.
