FROM DRIP TO DROP: Novel Labs’ Serum Token Launches Tomorrow And BAYC Members Can Still Get In On The Action!

Sip is about to happen around the swamp and beyond as Novel Labs gets ready for its $Serum coin’s token generation event tomorrow and every Bored Ape and Mutant is invited to get in on the action!

Years of storytelling, community building, and participation on and off chain all come down to this. On Thursday, Novel Labs’ culture token, dubbed $Serum, will officially launch with the goal of being an incentive layer for the MAYC and Mutant Cartel that supports all the underdogs who are still bullish on NFTs!

 

 

On the eve of $Serum, Novel Labs published a lengthy article titled “Introducing $Serum,” where they wrote that the token will be managed by a community led company called SERUM Corp and operate similarly to ApeCoin’s ApeCo.

 

The team also explained that $Serum will have Serum Improvement Proposals (SIPs) that will function like the old ApeCoin DAO’s AIPs, giving the community a way to request funds to “stimulate” their projects.

“​Initial capital is intended to support the initial runway towards a sustainable and profitable flywheel,” Novel Labs wrote.

 

While Novel Labs has been preparing for this $Serum drop for years, it’s not too late for Apes and Mutants to get involved. Tonight, every BAYC and MAYC member is invited to set up a Hideout account on Novel Labs’ website, create a Passport, connect their wallets, and get ready for launch.

“Apes and Mutants need to create a Hideout account and connect their ETH wallet holding their asset(s), and delegate wallets work,” Novel Labs’ Vngrd told the Gazette. “This will be a claim on the same Hideout website that they created their account.”

Novel Labs hopes to make these Passports and $Serum a big part of everything they do on ApeChain and Otherside. So if you haven’t already, you should ape in!
