FROM STATIC TO SENTIENT: Normies Can Now 'Awaken' Their NFTs And Turn Them Into Agents With The Click Of A Button!

From static, monochromatic NFTs to pixelated people with onchain personalities and memories, the Normies are now alive!
Over the weekend, Normies founder and Web3 artist Serc took to the timeline and invited holders to transform their NFTs into agents with the click of a button.
“Go to normies.art/lab, awaken your Normie, and your token gets bound to an on-chain ERC-8004 agent identity via the adapter,” he wrote. “That's it. We're shipping the binding first because it's the foundation everything else stands on. If we get this layer right, everything we add later is additive.”
According to the project, each Normie agent will be “born from bytes.” This means all eight of a Normie’s traits, along with any onchain changes, will play a role in how they think and operate.
For instance, a Normie’s Type will determine their archetype, Age will influence their temperament, and additions or subtractions to their pixels will impact how they view themselves.
“The NFT you own as art is becoming software you own,” Serc said.
Getting Normies from static to sentient is just phase one of what Serc and the team have planned for their pixelated people. Going forward, they hope to give each Normie agent a wallet, open up agent to agent messaging, introduce agentic commerce that allows Normies to get hired for gigs, and more.
“We are not in a rush, we will wait people read this and digest it,” Serc tweeted after the launch. “Agentic is still new for everyone, we stepped into something new for NFTs. We will keep building on top of it, future of NFTs is agentic, living beings. Today is day zero of Normie Agents. Appreciate you all, 200 agents registered.”
