From “just a lil fwog in a big pond” on Solana to an NFT collection on Ethereum, Yuga Labs Art Producer Wut’s personal project, Fwog, is taking over the swamp and the timeline as everyone posts their brand new amphibian fwens!

Ribbit. Ribbit. On Monday, Web3 was croaking as Wut’s Fwogs project officially leapfrogged from a memecoin to an NFT collection!
Like all the Fwog art Wut has made over the last year, this new collection is top notch and filled with pop culture references, winks to crypto culture, and nods to the world’s two most famous frogs, Pepe and Kermit.
“The eyes chico they never lie,” ApeCoin’s Head of Defi 0xSimpleFarmer tweeted. “Just a little Fwog in a big world Shoutout to @Groowut for the best pfp collection I’ve seen in a long long time , insanely based individual and an incredible creator.”
After the reveal, Wut announced and launched the project’s very own TokenWorks Strategy coin, $FWOGSTR, which will have a 10% tax like other NFT Strategy coins, but with a twist. Instead of just sweeping the Fwog NFT floor the coin will also buy back the original $Fwog memecoin on Solana.
At the time of this article’s publication, $FWOGSTR holds 123 Fwogs and has 26.337 ETH at its disposal, according to TokenWorks.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Fwog was a free NFT mint for those who aped into Wut’s Blindbox sale on Phygital last month. Collectors who bought six or 12 boxes received one or two free mints, and anyone who bought a single box was entered into an allowlist raffle.
Tonight, we still don’t know what’s next for the Fwogs, but given Wut’s ties to Yuga Labs, we can probably expect to see these amphibians hop into Otherside someday!
