FROM THE STAGE TO THE SWAMP: An Anonymous K-Pop Star Doubles Down On The BAYC After Purchasing Two More Primates!

From the stage to the swamp, a mysterious K-pop star doubled down on the Bored Ape Yacht Club last night, purchasing two more primates.

Things were anything but boring around the BAYC on Tuesday as Apes everywhere tried to figure out who’s behind the wallet “FilmStar,” after it scooped up another two Bored Apes for 21.7 ETH, or nearly $50,000 USD.

 

With this latest move, FilmStar now holds four Bored Apes and nearly $2 million USD worth of coins in their wallet, according to OpenSea.

But we still don’t know who they are,  just that they’re famous!

As the Gazette previously reported, shortly after FilmStar’s first primate pickup over the weekend, longtime BAYC member and former L.A. Boyz artist MachiBigBrother tweeted that the buyer is a K-pop star. Instead of revealing their identity, however, he’s letting the community guess.

“Guess which kpop star just became an ape,” he tweeted along with a photo of FilmStar’s new primate, Bored Ape #9339.
