"FULLY SUPPORTIVE": Animoca Brands Chairman Yat Siu Said Its Great To See Yuga Labs Delegate 6.5M $Ape Votes To The MBA Community!

Former ApeCoin DAO Special Council Member and Animoca Brands Chairman Yat Siu said he supports Yuga Labs’ decision to delegate 6.5 million $Ape worth of votes to Made By Apes builders at the ApeCoin DAO.

Things were anything but boring on Friday after Yuga Labs announced it would be placing 6.5 million $Ape worth of voting power into the hands of the 400+ Made By Apes businesses around the swamp once ApeChain goes live.

“ApeChain is for builders,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its Bored Ape Yacht Club account. “Once ApeChain is live, we’ll be delegating 6.5m APE to Made by Apes license holders to amplify their voice in the @ApeCoin DAO. Looking forward to the impact that these die hard builders will have.”

 

As soon as Yuga Labs delegates the voting power to the MBA community, the Made By Apes delegation will become the largest voting bloc at the ApeCoin DAO.

Yat Siu, whose company Animoca Brands’ NFT project Mocaverse is currently the largest voting bloc, tweeted that its great to see this development!

“Fully supportive of this and great to see @yugalabs leaning into Apechain and @apecointhe right way,” Siu tweeted after the announcement. “Delegating $ape increases participation and does not violate the principle of ownership.”

 

Following Siu’s tweet, current ApeCoin DAO Governance Working Group Steward BigBull took to the timeline to say that Siu’s support and Yuga Labs’ decision to delegate are great for the DAO going forward!“THIS, he wrote. “Active and Functional Delegations is the way.”
