The ApeCoin Intern donned a Jigsaw mask and asked the community if they wanted to play a game. The answer was a resounding “yes,” and he’s had them clicking away ever since, leading to insane volume numbers around the swamp!

On Monday, the Wheel of Fate began to spin on ApeChain, and community members aped in with everything they had.

While no one’s cutting off their own foot like in the Saw movies, players are clicking their fingers to the bone and running their MetaMask wallets ragged minting, claiming, and using Fate Balls in hopes of striking it rich!

The Games led to ApeChain’s highest volume day ever with 128,000 $Ape in trades and 265,000 Multiball Round Fate Balls minted by over 500 users!

"This is the kind of on chain participation we are expecting and pushing towards deep into the bull cycle,” ,ApeChain’s Head of Defi 0xSimpleFarmer told the Gazette. “These numbers solidify ApeChain as a top chain across crypto for activity. Many chain artificially boost their numbers with bots, we created a game. We are showing our real numbers generated by an organic engaged user base with a great product.”

“It’s the highest transaction event in ApeChain’s history and also the most secondary sales in a single day,” 0xSimpleFarmer added. “The project is already a massive success. We have a lot more surprises in store and more days of playing ahead.”

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, ApeCoin uses Proof of Play’s Verified Random Number Generator to create provably fair onchain raffles where no one knows the outcome. Like Jigsaw’s games in the movies, the Wheel of Fate is as fair as it is cruel.

Looking ahead, the intern will invite everyone to return daily to mint different amounts of Multiballs until the games end on August 31st. He recommends that players collect their Fate Balls each day and burn their losing tickets, because he and the team have more games and plans up their sleeves.

The Bored Ape Gazette will continue to follow all things Wheel of Fate and will let you know who what the intern does next. Stay tuned for updates!
