GAME ON: Fortnite Pro And Streamer Sway Joins Apecoin DAO Sponsored Swamp Gaming Team!

The ApeCoin DAO-sponsored entertainment company, Swamp Gaming, made a splash in the e-sports world this morning after leveling up its content by adding a Fortnite pro with 1.6 million followers on X and over 430 million lifetime views on YouTube to the team!

Things were anything but boring on Sunday after Swamp Gaming announced that Sway was “entering the swamp” and joining their ApeCoin DAO-powered championship Esports & Gaming Entertainment Organization.

 

 

“Just signed @swaywtw , one of the world’s biggest gaming stars to AIP-380 (Swamp Gaming),” Swmap Gaming Founder TFG tweeted. “Sway has 12 million followers and is now fully representing ApeCoin, Bored Ape, & Dookey Dash Check out our video below and show support.”

After the announcement, Sway took to YouTube and shared an eight-minute video with his 3.96 million subscribers titled “The End of FaZe Sway,” where he laid out what’s next for him when it comes to gaming and the $Ape ecosystem.

In his video, Sway went over his past with FaZe and announced his future with Swamp Gaming, teasing their Dookey Dash Unclogged tournament, dubbed the ‘Dookey Dash Cup,’ on October 4th in Texas!

 

For those unfamiliar with Sway, he is considered one of the controller GOATs of gaming and has been impressing fans for years with his Fortnite skills. Sway first started his YouTube career in 2017 playing Call of Duty. From there, he transitioned into Fortnite and eventually joined FaZe Clan as its youngest-ever member in 2019.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the ApeCoin DAO approved BAYC member TFG's Swamp Gaming Ape Improvement Proposal in February 2024. Looking ahead, Apes and $Ape holders can expect to see Swamp Gaming House content, live streams of Yugaverse games through various channels, and contests hosted by the Swamp Gaming Team, according to TFG's proposal.
