GAME ON: Unboxing Web3’s ApeChain May Madness Finals Begin Tomorrow As The Geez Face The Zards!

And then there were two.

The Unboxing Web3 May Madness finals tip off tomorrow at 3 P.M. EST, and the top seeded Geez On Ape will face off against the Zards, who had a magical win over the Not A Punks Cult last week to get here!

It’s been an insane month across the ApeChain ecosystem as the top 16 collections battled it out in Unboxing Web3’s first ever May Madness tournament to determine, once and for all, which community is the best.

And tomorrow, we’ll finally get our answer: is it Geez On Ape or the Zards?

“Get ready! The FINALS for May Madness are just 24 hours away,” Unboxing Web3 tweeted. “ Who will reign ApeChain Supreme?! The Mighty @GeezOnApe or the Cunning  @ZardsNFT , known for upsets? As Geez On Ape and the Zards get ready to face off, the Gazette reached out to both projects’ founders to see how they’re feeling.

“Honestly, it’s amazing to have even made it to the final 4,” Zards founder Seb Brook told the Gazette. “I’m friends with the NPC team, and hate any kind of PVP, but rallying our respective communities to the point we had over 1000 votes was a testament of the power of community. It was super close, but we’re thrilled that Zards pulled through to the final. I’ll be honest; the thought of battling the Geez scares the hell out of me haha. I have mad respect for Rida and love the Geez project, and it will be a hard one to win. But we will rally our Zard army and see what we can conjure up on the day!”

As Brook and the Zards get ready for battle, Rida congratulated his fellow Geez for getting this far and thanked Guccheetah and Professor Dilly for putting the event together.

“Great to see community rallying and voting for Geez on this amazing campaign by  @guccheetah and  @UnboxingWeb3 team,” he said.

 

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Unboxing Web3’s May Madness tournament follows the same bracket style format as the NCAA’s March Madness. But instead of buzzerb eaters and slam dunks, it’s vibes and X polls that determine which projects advance!

Everyone is invited to cast their vote for either the Zards or Geez On Ape tomorrow afternoon via Unboxing Web3’s soon to drop X poll. Voting will last for 24 hours, and the winner will be announced on Friday! So make sure to get your votes in ASAP!
