Late last night, longtime Bored Ape Yacht Club member and Floor Protocol founder FreeLunchCapital accepted an anonymous crypto whale’s offer of 666 ETH or about  $2,350,000 USD on Bored Ape #7940.

 

 

Bored Ape #7940 is a six-trait, solid gold fur Ape featuring a diamond stud earring and an orange beanie. Based on these traits, the primate ranks as the 31st rarest Bored Ape in the entire collection, according to Magic Eden.

 

 

While the buyer remains anonymous, we do know that their wallet is 0xd35c6804e74a98e20ca675b20c03fa6e2d5344f7 and that they have been making waves on the Otherside over the past month, and their shopping spree may just be getting started.

As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported in July, Wallet 0xd35c68 purchased two Otherdeeds: Otherdeed #7, a center Island plot of land for 100 Eth or $278,000 USD and Otherdeed #67722, a plot of land that’s home to a Archway Keystone artifact, which is one of the metaverse’s nine one of one artifacts.

 

 

On top of these two acquisitions, Wallet 0xd35c68 currently holds nearly $2 million worth of Ethereum, according to Etherscan data.
