HAPPY BIRTHDAY MUTANTS: The Bored Ape Yacht Club Celebrates MAYC’s Four Year Anniversary On Otherside After Yuga Labs Surprises Mutants With Their Metaverse Ready Primates!

You didn’t think Yuga Labs forgot the Mutant Ape Yacht Club’s fourth birthday, did you anon?

Things went insane around the swamp on Thursday when Yuga Labs dropped a ‘Fuck It’-esque Mutants on Otherside surprise, inviting the nearly 20,000 Mutants Apes to break on through to the Otherside as their primates for the first time ever! Happy Birthday, Mutants!

“A humming, violet portal has opened up in Otherside,” Yuga Labs tweeted from its Otherside account. “Murtis is no longer the only Mutant in the Swamp”.

 

 

“Starting today, you can hop in to Otherside as your Mutant,” Yuga Labs CEO Garga tweeted. “Mutants are the most complex avatar builds in this space - consider this a preview. Seconds after the post, Mutants rushed to the metaverse to take their first digital steps around the swamp, snap photos, and of course, twerk with their frens.

“Damn!!!!! these #MAYC look SIICCKKKK on the Otherside,” BAYC Member Captain Rox tweeted. "They might just be the best-looking avatars on there."

As the community celebrated the Mutants’ fourth birthday, Garga took some time to reflect on the last four insane years and wish the MAYC a happy birthday.

“Some of the best times I've ever had in this space was the lead up to Mutants,” he said. “Deranged, creative fun spawned from an arcade machine at the back of the bar. long overdue to get these insane fuckers into Otherside.”
