Oh, there’s no place like the Sphere for the holidays!
From decking the chain to decking the Strip, Pudgy Penguins are making spirits bright this week as they take over the Las Vegas Sphere, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Tonight, the Pudgy Penguins’ minute-long ad officially went live on the Sphere, featuring the project’s mascots, Pax and Polly, breaking through their igloo, gazing out over Sin City, and wishing frens old and new a Happy New Year.
“We really put some Pudgy Penguins on the Vegas Sphere.,” the brand’s Chief Creative & Co-Founder ChefGoyardi tweeted. “Crazy.”
Pudgy Penguins landing on the Sphere is a huge step for the brand and a giant leap for Web3 IP at large. In the two years since it opened, the Sphere has quickly become one of the most iconic venues in the United States, with some of the world’s biggest brands like Xbox, SpiderMan, Facebook, and more wrapping the massive 366-foot tall structure in their IP, capturing the imagine of everyone.
In the crypto world, traders and key opinion leader Ansem even tried and failed to get the popular memecoin Dog Wif Hat on the Sphere last year. So seeing Pudgy Penguins featured on the venue is a massive accomplishment for the team.
