Shortly after the Bored Ape Yacht Club announced its ApeCoin release, several of the largest crypto exchanges announced that the token will be tradable on their platform’s day one.
FTX, Voyager, Binance US., Gemini, Kraken, Coinbase, OKX, Huobi among others each announced Wednesday evening that apeCoin will be supported on their platforms, according to the company’s various social media pages.
While it is unclear when each exchange will begin its ApeCoin trading, The BAYC told its followers it will keep them posted throughout the process.
“For everyone else who wants to ape in: ApeCoin will be available to all and is expected to begin trading on major crypto exchanges ASAP,” the BAYC tweeted on its ApeCoin Twitter account. “We’ll tweet as that happens!”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, ApeCoin is set to kick off early Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. EST, according to the BAYC.
“62% of the total supply of ApeCoin is allocated to the ApeCoin community, a portion of which (15% of total supply) will be available to claim starting tomorrow (3/17) at 8:30 am ET, the club tweeted. “The airdrop claim consisting of 15% of the total supply of ApeCoin will be made available to @BoredApeYC NFT holders (Bored Apes and Mutant Apes, as well as #BAKC dogs paired with either #BAYC or #MAYC).”
