Improbable Is Hosting A Football Metaverse Meet Up Tomorrow! Here's What You Need To Know:
After Improbable hit a home run with its Major League Baseball virtual ballpark on Saturday, the company is hoping to score a goal with its football victory league event tomorrow morning!
On Thursday, Voyagers, metaverse enthusiasts, and football fans are invited to check out a new fan experience designed by Improbable and powered by the company’s M2 technology.
“Gonna have some fun with this one,” Improbable Co-Founder and CEO Herman Narula tweeted. “Victory league is an experimental project on @MSquared_io designed to connect fans and players in new ways we are working closely with some of the most legendary names in football to bring the social experience of the sport to as many people as possible!”
Tomorrow’s event will begin at 9 A.M. EST, according to Improbable. During the event, participants will get the chance to kick it with Kanu Kwankwo!
"https://victoryleague.io tap on this link to join us on the Metaverse,” Kwankwo tweeted. “KICKING IT WITH KANU. Date Thursday 13th. Time 2pm UK time. I can’t wait to host you. Please share. Let’s make this happen.”
As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Improbabale is building the interoperable metaverse that includes Yuga Labs’ Otherside on its M2 technology.
During a metaverse lecture last month, Narula explained that in the future users will be able to bring their avatars and collectibles that are compatible with Improbable's open format protocol dubbed Metaverse Markup Language between worlds in the M2 network.
“It’s essentially like an ecosystem that lets everybody profit,” Narula said. “So, you can make a world like Sandbox and Decentraland, you can connect one in, you can create MML objects, and you can have them move from world to world. You can create and use experiences that have thousands of people in them at the same time. And none of these are going to be decisions that are only made my Improbable. So M2 stands apart from us and is kind of like an underlying telecoms network for the metaverse. And there will be economic incentives that will incentivize all of the large metaverses we are working with to create more interoperable.”
The Bored Ape Gazette will be in attendance during Improbable’s football event tomorrow. Stay tuned for updates!
