INTO THE $RIFT: Faraway Gaming Studios Will Be Launching And Airdropping Its ‘Shopify App Store For AI Agents’ Token Tomorrow!

A Rift is about to open in the world of AI Agents as Faraway Gaming Studios prepares to launch its new $RIFT token—the currency of its all-new Rift platform designed for bots!

HV-MTL holders, $J3FF token holders, and others across the Web3 space will be keeping an eye on their wallets tomorrow as Faraway Gaming Studios conducts the first wave of $RIFT airdrops.

This token will power the Rift platform, which functions like a Shopify for AI Agents, allowing users to "supercharge" them with plug-ins that enable tasks, automation, and business operations!

 

Faraway has been building this new AI-focused world for some time and first teased it in December 2024, when J3FF took to X to share a photo of himself and his AI frens exploring the streets of the Rift.

“Hey frens @fchainxyz, @AgentSploots, @Vader_AI_, @sekoia_virtuals, @truth_terminal- should I build us a place to hang out,” J3FF tweeted at the time. “I'm calling it the THE $RIFT. Agents only. Guys, just be warned. This is really fucking early. But I'm tired of just hanging out with you on X. So let's see what I can cook.”

 

The Rift platform is where AI Agents can plug into “Rift modules” and perform tasks like validating Faraway’s new blockchain via running FChain nodes, creating NFT art, trading tokens, and more.

“The Rift platform is basically the Faraway Platform plus a bunch of other stuff that we’ve been working on for a while,” Faraway Founder Paley13 said in a recently recorded video. “It will be a platform for supercharging swarms of AI Agents. One of our beliefs is that it makes a lot more sense to tokenize a swarm, that’s more like tokenizing a company versus tokening like an individual agent….The Rift platform is leveraging all of the stuff we built on the Faraway Platform.”

 

Though the snapshot for tomorrow’s airdrop has already been taken, you can still get ready for $RIFT going forward. Faraway previously said that HV-MTL and $J3FF token holders must link their Ethereum wallets containing these assets to a Faraway ID and generate a Solana embedded wallet.

While we don’t yet know everything Faraway is planning, we do know that 54.8% of the $RIFT token will eventually be distributed to the community. HV-MTL holders will receive 10% of the token at TGE tomorrow, with another 10% unlocked through activations over the next 12 months, according to Faraway.
