"IT FEELS GOOD MAN": BAYC Member Whew Purchases Another Laser Eyed Primate For $118K USD!

While Ethereum inched closer to its all time high, Apes got swept, and Yuga Labs CEO Garga tweeted that “the time of the grail has come.” This Bored Ape Yacht Club member lasered in on another laser eyed primate!

On Saturday, things were anything but boring around the swamp as longtime BAYC member and self proclaimed “Collectible Enthusiast” Whew purchased Bored Ape #1154 for 27.69 ETH or about $118,000 USD!

 

Bored Ape #1154 is a six-trait red fur primate sporting a caveman’s pelt, a fisherman’s hat, and laser eyes. Based on these traits, this Ape ranks as the 985th rarest primate in the entire collection, according to Magic Eden.

“It feels good man,” Whew told the Gazette after his purchase. “We all know where ETH is going and we all know what happens next when ETH hits ATH's. . this is not just a JPEG. It’s a piece of crypto history.”

 

With today’s purchase, Whew now holds three Bored Apes, including two laser eyed primates, seven Mutant Apes, and a Bored Ape Kennel Club Doggo across two wallets, according to OpenSea data.
