KICK IT AND PICK IT: Meebits Invite Anyone And Everyone To Fill Out A Meebits Futbol Bracket Ahead Of Tomorrow's World Cup Kickoff!

A voxel Pig, Meebs, and more are up for grabs onchain this summer as the Meebits invite collectors and soccer fans alike to prove they know ball and compete in a bracket style tourney!

As billions of fútbol fans around the globe get ready to tune in to five and a half weeks of soccer across the Americas, the Meebits are inviting holders, collectors, and fans everywhere to fill out a bracket for the 48 country tournament before kickoff tomorrow.

“The Meebits Fútbol Bracket Challenge closes in less than 24 hours,” the project tweeted. “Your holdings determine your division and prize pool. Meebits Collectors can compete for Pig #7575.” Fútbol Collectibles holders can compete across multiple divisions, with different prize categories based on holdings. There is also a free-to-enter community division open to everyone. Brackets lock at 2:30pm ET on June 11. Enter now.”

 

 

When filling out a bracket, users will automatically be entered into one of four different tiers based on their NFT holdings, with prizes ranging from Pig #7575 for Meebits collectors to community rewards for fans participating outside the ecosystem.

 

 

As the Gazette prevously reported, Meebits are going all in on the World Cup this summer.  From daily livestreams hosted by MeebCo CEO Sergito and LSU starting goalkeeper Sophie Kevorkian, to prediction markets, bracket challenges, fantasy futbol, and digital sticker albums, Meebits Futbol is looking to give fans plenty of ways to engage throughout the five and a half week tournament, with prizes ranging from ETH to Meebits NFTs up for grabs along the way.

Collectors can use their Meebits Fútbol NFTs to enter the Bracket Challenge or Fútbol Fantasy competitions, with prizes ranging from ETH to Meebits NFTs.”
