Kyle Forgeard Posted A Photo With Elon Musk And Bored Ape Happy Dad Hard Seltzers

Bored Ape Yacht Club member and internet personality Kyle Forgeard posted a photo of himself and Elon Musk that caught the attention of Bored Ape Yacht Club members.

Last night, Foregeard, who is a part of a group known as the NELK, tweeted an image of himself with Musk teasing their upcoming podcast episode.

After the tweet, astute viewers noticed a bored ape on the cans in the picture.

“Elon caught posing with @BoredApeYC!!!,” notable Twitter user Greg tweeted.

The Bored Ape in the photo is Bored Ape #8928. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, Forgeard and the NELK Boy’s hard seltzer brand, Happy Dad, purchased Bored Ape #8928 on December 4th, 2021, for 59 Eth.

Bored Ape #8928 is a seven-trait black fur primate with a bone necklace and a cowboy hat. Based on these traits, Bored Ape #8928 is the 5138th most rare ape, according to Rarity Tools.

On April 21st, on a podcast with Snoop Dogg, Forgeard teased an upcoming banana flavored hard seltzer featuring the company’s bored ape on the can.

“Speaking of the Bored ape shit, it’s banana flavored," Forgeard told fellow BAYC member and Rapper Snoop Dogg.

Forgeard went on to say that he and the other Nelk boys want to put Happy Dad’s bored ape, Bored Ape #8928, on the can. “that’s what we’re thinking,” he said. “And the banana flavor, we just thought it was going to be like fruit, like it being cool, but it’s actually fire.”

As for Musk, this is not the first time that he has been connected with Bored Apes this year. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the richest man alive briefly changed his Twitter profile photo the Sotheby’s 101 bored ape auction collage on May 4th. Later that morning, Musk tweeted “ I dunno…. Seems kinda fungible.”
