LET HIM COOK: Yuga Labs' Chef Garga Teased That NPC AI Agents Are Coming To Otherside

Yuga Labs’ Chef Garga shared a tantalizing new recipe he’s been cooking up that aims to fill Otherside with NPC AI agents that guide narratives and bring the world to life!

On Tuesday, Garga took to social media to share a flowchart showcasing the idea of Otherside AI Agents. It starts with an "iNPC (Interactive Non-Playable Character)" and ends with independent AI-driven characters capable of guiding narratives and generating quests for players.

 

Following Garga’s post, Apes and Voyagers flooded the timeline with excitement, noting that iNPC characters would make Otherside anything but boring.

“The idea of playing an MMO, finishing a quest from an AI agent, and getting paid on chain actually sounds amazing,” illuminaryETH pondered after the post. “AI agents could also give you item rewards via NFTs.”

 

While details beyond the flowchart remain scarce, Garga did reveal that Yuga Labs recently had its “first internal end-to-end run-through with the Wire guys and Improbable today.”

As we wait to find out more, Wire Network’s Mikey Anderson teased that the iNPC agents are something else. “Just wait until you see…” he tweeted.
