ApeChain is getting physical this summer with the release of an all-new print and collection from iconic Web3 artist Derech, who’s making his ApeChain debut at the token’s artist showcase next week in New York City!

Eastern wabi-sabi philosophies about the imperfectly beautiful will meet the heart of Western culture, New York City, on ApeChain, as Tokyo based street photographer Derech drops his new Moments Between Stillness collection both on chain and in real life at ApeChain’s artist showcase inside streetwear designer Jeff Staple’s new 21 Mercer storefront.

Derech’s Moments Between Stillness features a photo of the New York City skyline with the word “NEW YORKER” spelled out in bold red letters across the bottom third of the print.

 

“Telling stories through images is my way of connecting with the world , and for me, New York is the perfect muse,” Drech wrote. “There is always something happening around the corner, which is why I roam the streerts with my 1964 film camera, hunting for raw, unposred moments like someone reading the newspaper while smoking a Saturday morning cigar on a Central Park bench, skaters doing crazy ticks at LES, or a young couple kissing by the foundation in Washington Square. There are endless moments happening and I want to be there to tell their stories.”
