LICENSE TO APE: Bored Ape Yacht Club Members Can Claim A BMW Designed Soulbound NFT And Upgrade It Throughout ApeFest

Forget a license to drive—Bored Ape Yacht Club members can now get their BMW-designed license to Ape on ApeChain and upgrade it throughout ApeFest!

BMW’s collaboration with the Bored Ape Yacht Club is shifting gears and speeding onto ApeChain with the launch of a new soulbound NFT drop that BAYC members can claim now and upgrade throughout ApeFest.

“BMW M is building on APECHAIN,” the BAYC announced. “All Apes are invited to claim their personal BMW M Driver’s License that will evolve at ApeFest Lisbon. This unique soulbound token will be airdropped to your wallet once ApeChain is live.”

With these licenses, Apes will be able to track BMW ApeFest activities, earn badges, and evolve their soulbound collectible!

“Your BMW M Driver’s License evolves with two unique visual transformations as you participate in specific BMW M Driving Experience activities, the BAYC wrote on its website. “Scan QR codes to earn badges, making your token a living memory of your experience.”

This soulbound NFT experience is the fourth activation BMW has announced for ApeFest this year. As the Bored Ape Gazette previously reported, the luxury automaker is also hosting an M Mixed Reality Racing experience, debuting its Bored Ape Bimmer Club jackets, and unveiling its Bored Ape car, made in collaboration with BAYC member Rida.
