On Thursday, Orange Cap Games announced that the fourth set of its popular trading card game, Vibes TCG, is dropping later this year, and this time, it's centered around Pudgy Penguins' broader "collector couple" initiative!
“Introducing Vibes Set 4: Table For Two,” the company tweeted. “Coming late Q4 2026.”
The game's newest set will feature Pax and Polly alongside 245 Big and Lil Pudgy Penguins, with frens like Saphenal, Hippie, A Raving Ape, StMcFly, and more all waddling into packs!
With Vibes Set 4: Table For Two, Pudgy Penguins is doing more than putting Pax and Polly in trading cards. It's bringing its broader "collector couple" vision to cardboard, one that has already inspired everything from the brand’ Valentine's Day plushies and couples' icebreaker game to its latest Kung Fu Tea collaboration!
“Collector couple throughline now intertwined in our TCG, allowing retailers to merchandise our plush, consumables, and TCG together,” Pudgy Penguins Head of Partnerships Steve Starobinsky tweeted this afternoon. “Better together.”
As the Gazette previously reported, Starobinsky discussed the "collector couple" concept in an interview with License Global earlier this year, revealing that the brand deals with a phenomenon they call “the Pudgy Paradox” because Pudgy Penguins' audience skews female on Instagram and TikTok, but overwhelmingly male on X.
It's a divide the company sees as an opportunity to bring those audiences together through Pax, Polly, and products that couples can enjoy and collect together.
“One of the most interesting things about Pudgy Penguins is how often couples use our animated content to communicate with each other online,” Starobinsky told License Global at the time. “These short-form animations have become a kind of emotional shorthand, people use them to say, ‘this is us,’ or to express love, humor or everyday relationship moments.”
Whether you're collecting with your significant other or just looking to add a few more fat, flightless birds to your binder, one thing is clear, Pudgy Penguins is betting that collecting is better together!
